Mobile App

MyMTN NG Mobile App

MTN Nigeria

This app serves millions of users, currently with over 10M+ downloads on the App Store. I delivered the major feature of October 2025 - the two-step buy data journey, which reduced the user journey of buying data from 3 steps to 2. Also worked on theme customization. Looking forward to working on more exciting features on the app.

Mobile App

MomoPSB Mobile App

MTN Nigeria

I worked on the frontend team delivering key features including TV subscriptions, account management, and prepaid card for electricity. This app is part of MTN's financial services ecosystem, making essential services accessible to millions.

Mobile App

Unee App

Unee

I was recommended by my older friend and mentor to lead the development of this app. He helped me build structure, find technical direction, and told me 'Shola you must deliver' - I said yes sir. So far so good, we're shipping this December and the feedback from the PO has been very great. We're building a community for people to connect and meet each other - a place to find your people.

Mobile App

ScanStock

ScanStock (own startup)

When I was working on the MTN FMA app, I implemented an idea I pitched which later turned into what they now call 'manifest' - it logs users that enter buses every day using QR code scanning, tailored to MTN only, with security features. While working on it, I realized all QR codes are scanned by any phone. That evening at my workspace, I got the idea - I could bring the entire supermarket check-in/check-out of goods into a smartphone. That's exactly what I did. I made ScanStock for small-medium scale businesses. It also enables them to mail receipts to customers, see logs of markets, see stats, etc. I did the backend too.

Web App

Ìgbájọ

Ìgbájọ (own startup)

Founder-built volunteer discovery and event-operations platform. Lets organisers run community events with QR check-in, team and task assignment, and verified attendance — replacing WhatsApp-and-spreadsheet chaos. Used by organisers at Tech Revolution Africa and Womenovate's WITESA summit.

Web App

Grandma's Pot

Gentle Global Group / Hotel De Vibe

Tech partner to Gentle Global Group, building a hospitality ERP covering front desk, restaurant, and bar operations for Hotel De Vibe — streamlining communication and execution across departments. In active development; positioned as a second startup ahead of public launch. Backend by me.

Web App

HHGCL Enterprise Management System

Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited

This was my first major challenge - I had to architect the whole thing, both frontend and backend. I worked singularly on this app, built with Django and frontend. Back then I had no knowledge of AWS. This project had me pull up my sleeves and learn to deploy my own projects on AWS ecosystem. Helped me learn how to configure nginx, route requests, design backend code, design database, work with SQL. The system includes comprehensive employee management, contract tracking, payroll processing, and performance appraisal features. Employees can view their KPIs, track performance history, and manage their profiles. Backend by me.

My MTN Fleet Management App

MTN Nigeria

This project I led from scratch, built it twice (because of a lot of back and forth). It's for managing drivers, vehicles - it's MTN's mini Uber. A lot of sweat, back and forth between business and scrum masters. Here I learnt a lot dealing with stress and managing expectations. I worked as the lead frontend engineer, working on the admin end and the staff side. The dispatcher end assigns vehicles and resources to staff when they make requests. Users can book vehicle requests, they also manage things like drivers on the app.

My Haven

My Haven

This is the singular thing I'm most proud of in 2025, got me on TV. Not the most complex, but the most impactful. I had the opportunity to work on this particular project. August 28, 1963 'I have a dream,' said Martin Luther King Jr. November 6, 2025, I also had a dream. To build something relevant enough within just 3 days to earn us a platform. I shared this dream with the volunteers in the ICT team at the 2025 LTP Conference. By Day 2, people started paying attention. By Day 3, we gained traction. We were debugging under pressure, hoping, praying, believing. When it seemed like it wouldn't happen, I was already drafting a speech to encourage the team, even in failure. On the final night, we returned by 8 PM. The last speaker went up, my team's motivation sank. I said only three words - 'Have some faith.' Then, the moment came. A rare opportunity, a slot to present. Despite network glitches and pressure, I carried the audience through the demo. And when I said 'We built this in 3 days,' the hall came alive. That night, I realized, the real achievement wasn't building the app. It was inspiring my team to believe again and again. Backend by me.

Stirhouse Check-In Management System

Harvesters Church Gbagada / BTE

I currently volunteer as a Sunday teacher at Harvesters Church Gbagada, Lagos. When I joined, they would mark attendance with Excel sheets. It was a gruesome experience - everyone hated it, including me. I would pray it wasn't my turn or never reached my turn to do it. After it reached my turn, I hated every minute because marking attendance with Excel is not the most exciting thing to do. So I went home that day and I solved the problem, giving birth to Stirhouse Check-In Management System. It's a security, check-in and check-out system for the teens church. We assign cards to them, on check-in they drop at the gate, checking out. We're looking to expand to other churches and the ownership has been transferred to BTE (Believers Tech Expo) my community because it's faith-based and as the community lead I must drive faith-led innovations.

Web App

Sheetly

Sheetly

A while ago in church, we used Google Forms to register volunteers for workers' meetings. But during check-in, we had to manually scroll through a posted Excel sheet to mark attendance. It worked... but it was frustrating, slow, and honestly avoidable. So I built a tiny tool. Sheetly - a lightweight UI that lets you upload a sheet or CSV, search participants quickly, check people in seamlessly, and visualize attendance at a glance. Nothing complex. No over-engineering. Just solving a real-life irritation with a simple UI and a bit of code.

Stork Party

Stork Party

Lately, I've been reflecting deeply - realizing I wasn't operating at the creative intensity, clarity, and spiritual fire I once had. So I started revisiting old notes, old ideas, and unfinished sparks. One of those 'half-baked' ideas was a fun project I built during a friend's baby shower - a digital baby-shower game experience inspired by Kahoot. We forgot to print game cards, and within an hour (thanks to Vibecode), I built a quick MVP solution. It worked. It was exciting. Then life moved and I parked it. Today, as part of this season of reawakening, creativity, and execution - I'm open-sourcing it.

Web App

Crescendo Craft

Crescendo Craft

No brainer - age-long client I've been working with for about 3 years, called me to do this for his wife and they loved it. They run an advertising agency so they need a platform to manage their customers across the world. Backend by me.

Web App

CleanSweep Manager

CleanSweep

I built CleanSweep because my laundry guy always misplaces my clothes. Then I over-engineered it and powered it with AI. It has OCR scanning capabilities. You should just write something like 'Customer: name, 2 shirts, 2 trousers etc' and the AI system would scan and pick it up and log the clothes including price calculation and new cloth category creation. Also added finance projection with AI, customer likelihood to come back, email sending for payment and invoice generation, WhatsApp messaging. It was fun doing this but funny I didn't give it to him yet because I'm not yet satisfied. When I have enough time I will complete it and turn it into a SaaS. If you're interested to collaborate, we can finish it up together. It's a fullstack Next.js app powered by Neon.

Daniel Obia Portfolio

Daniel Obia

Bespoke design and development of a designer's portfolio, which includes and allows his users and clients to shop from his work and fashion store. The process took about 4 months of refinement, working closely with the client. He is a designer, so you must understand their keen eye for details. With that and a blend of creativity, we brought forward this magnificent work of art - simple yet bespoke and elegant. We played around with a few shades and looks before settling for this. At the end, he was satisfied and I was proud of what I had done for him.

Website

BTE Website

Believers Tech Expo

The story behind this - I'm the community lead for a faith-based tech community, and of course I have to do things for free. There's an easter egg on the website - I mean if you're indisposed to the word of God, I called it the FaithBot. It responds to you calmly and helps you with devotion, faith-based stuff. Do well to check it out, it was fun to build. I sat down overnight to build this one, and I'm glad I did. My love for humanity is strong, hence the birth of BTE and some other volunteering experiences I have had and still have.

02 — Profile

About

I build for scale and for scrutiny — consumer products used by millions, and enterprise systems that have to survive an audit. At MTN Nigeria I ship features into an app with a ten-million-plus user base; through Hampshire Heights Global I led the end-to-end build of a governance, risk, and compliance platform now sold as its own product.

Alongside the day job I found and build my own things — Ìgbájọ, a volunteer-operations platform now used at conferences across Lagos, and a hospitality ERP in progress with Gentle Global Group. And I spend a fair amount of my time off the clock running the operations behind the tech events and communities I believe in.

“I don't just write code — I build systems that scale, teams that execute, and products that deliver real impact.”
